Privacy policy

This policy explains how Crew & Coin (crewandcoin.com) handles personal data, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law.

Who is responsible

What data we process and why

1. Emails you send us. If you write to us, we use your email address and the content of your message only to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to messages. We keep the conversation for as long as needed to deal with it and delete it within twelve months.

2. Analytics (Google Analytics 4). If you accept analytics cookies, we measure which pages are read and how people move through the site, to improve the guides. IP addresses are not stored in a way that identifies you. Legal basis: your consent. Without consent, no analytics cookies are set.

3. Advertising (Google AdSense). The site shows ads served by Google. With your consent, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show personalized ads and measure them. Without consent, Google may show non-personalized ads, which use limited data and no cookies for personalization. Consent is collected through a consent management platform certified by Google and integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Legal basis: your consent. You can see the full list of advertising partners and change your choices at any time with the Privacy settings link at the bottom of every page.

4. Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, date and page requested, to keep the site secure and working. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security of the service. Logs are kept for a short period and then deleted automatically.

5. Preferences stored in your browser. If you switch the site to dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser. It is not sent to us.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for any purpose other than the ones listed above.

Who receives the data

• Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, for analytics and advertising, and the advertising partners you consent to through the privacy settings.
• Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its server logs.

International transfers

Google may process data in the United States. Google LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and also uses the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting what was done before. Write to hello@crewandcoin.com.

If you think your data has been handled incorrectly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es) or to the data protection authority of your country.

Children

This website is for business owners and is not directed at children under 16.

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with its date.
